Reason for Recognition? I had a patient that needed to be talked to as soon as possible and it was about 4:30 pm. Bryanna was the only person I could get a hold of. She was packed up and ready to go but instead of saying I have to go. She called the patient not one but three times and continued to try even after getting hung up on. She stayed for at least 15 minutes if not longer to help the patient out. It was amazing the amount of effort she put in for a patient who was struggling when she was on her way out the door. Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into these patients! You truly make a difference!

Reason for Recognition? An older patient called because her prescription for pain medication was sent to a pharmacy, and they did not have any in stock. The patient then called around to 7 different pharmacies where she found Coborn's in Mora had it. The patient needed the prescription then re-sent. I told the pt that I would get a message to the provider so we could get it over there for her. She then went in to say "Let me tell you this, every time I call you nurses are always so helpful and actually mean it when you say you will do something. You guys are always so kind, understanding and non-judgmental." The patient was very grateful and appreciative of the care she has been given here at Welia. She then stated she may just switch pharmacies to Welia as well and she lives in Cambridge.

Reason for Recognition? called Linda and said, "I have a problem". When I explained what was going on, she said, "That's not a problem!" and immediately took action.
A patient needed a Prep Sheet for her colonoscopy scheduled for tomorrow. Linda already knew the plan - get a prep sheet, put in an envelope and have ready when the patient came to pick it up at the Mora front desk in 30 minutes. Didn't hesitate, was pleasant, and I know it will be ready for the patient.

Reason for Recognition? After giving a newborn a bath today, I gave the mother a crocheted hat and booties for her baby. She was so happy and thankful for them. She wanted you to all know how much she appreciated them.
