Reason for Recognition? Thank you SO very much for putting the people of our community first! With air unable to fly and limited trucks in surrounding counties, we were in a pickle. You both were off and came in the middle of the night.
Tom, thank you for being one of the very few paramedics we do have and coming in to transfer an intubated patient to the cities for much needed higher-level of care.
Andrew, thank you for coming in as an EMT and working a truck to serve our county, as we would have been left without an ambulance to cover our county entirely.
It is because of you guys that these patients got the care they needed. You two were the heroes of the day. We appreciate you and so do our patients!
