Reason for Recognition? I had a critical lab value that I needed to get to a RN stat. Matt was the first RN to volunteer his time to take on such a critical task. He went above the call of duty doing this, since it was not even his patient. He was quick to tell the provider, thus saving precious time. How many lives has this man saved? 10? 20? possibly even more, the world will never know.
