Reason for Recognition? As we were having morning coffee, we saw an elderly couple trying to get to PT through the courtyard. The elderly man could no longer walk and his wife was trying to push him in a walker with no avail, so he was getting up to cut across the grassy area. Cindy ran out and said she would get a wheel chair and to just wait. She then pushed him to his ECHO appointment to which the wife was really grateful. Great work Cindy!

Reason for Recognition? I had a patient yesterday that raved about how fantastic Lisa was with his blood draw. The patient stated he is a "hard-stick" when it comes to drawing blood and it is always painful for him. This was not the case with Lisa and the patient wanted her to know how fabulous of a job she did... Way to go Lisa :)

Reason for Recognition? I would like to recognize our Eye Care Team. I took part in the eyeglass sale last night and even though it had been a long and busy day for them I found every one of the staff to be so bright and happy. It was a great experience. Thank you!

Reason for Recognition? Thank you both for going above and beyond scheduling a patient for cataract surgery. Not only getting him scheduled but working with outside providers and other departments to get his pre-op taken care of and finding him a ride.

Reason for Recognition? I had a patient contact me at 4:15 last Friday saying that his pharmacy told him he needed a prior authorization to pick up one of this prescriptions. He was going to be out of the medication over the weekend and it was important that he not miss any doses. Janelle contacted the patient's insurance company and submitted an urgent PA over the phone right then and there. I think she even stayed late to do so! It was approved about a half hour later so that patient did not have to go without. Thank you for going above and beyond to ensure that our patient was taken care of!

Reason for Recognition? We called Judy to see if she could come in to clean rooms for us this evening. She was here in a very short time and cleaned 5 rooms for us so we could accept patients from ED. Her willingness to come in on her time off is so appreciated. We appreciate your cheerful smile and team spirit.
