Reason for Recognition? St. Croix Hospice called inquiring on a patient. In our conversation she stated how great our Social Service Department and everyone involved in discharge planning are at FirstLight. She said we are the best to work with and we always have our patients' best interests in mind.

Reason for Recognition? A patient was just in Medical Records/HIM to get copies of records. He was so appreciative that there was a face to talk to rather than communicating over emails, which happens at bigger facilities he told me.

Reason for Recognition? A recent patient raved about how friendly, attentive and professional the Pine City Clinic front desk people were. Stated she was so very happy that she is now coming to this clinic.

Reason for Recognition? She went above and beyond to help us with a prior authorization for a patient, with extremely special circumstances, at crunch time..(Friday). You are the greatest!

Reason for Recognition? Had a patient with family that received bad news and I asked Brandi to do the lab draw in the patient room to respect their privacy during the tough time. She did and was very sweet and accommodating to family.

Reason for Recognition? There was an elderly patient that came in and Becky was more than willing and happy to have the patient relax in the waiting area and sit by him to privately discuss his demographic/check in info so he didn't have to stand by the front desk. The patient hugely appreciated that gesture.

Reason for Recognition? We had a patient at the eye clinic today who spoke highly of FirstLight. She said when she walks through the halls at the Mora campus all of the employees are smiling and polite. She was also impressed with the new rehab facility and is looking forward to the courtyard.

Reason for Recognition? Thank you for all your hard work! The new cafeteria and food selections are very enjoyable. Especially the ice cream treats.

Reason for Recognition? A frequent patient came into the clinic today for Jen's assistance. This patient received an automated phone call and was confused by what he heard. The patient came in frustrated unsure of what appointments he had scheduled for tomorrow and where to go for them. The patient left confident knowing where and when to go, and was super grateful for the personal assistance Jen gave him. Way to go Jen, our patients love you!
