Reason for Recognition? A hospitalized patient missed a surgical follow up appointment with Allina podiatry due to her hospitalization here. Allina requested that she be seen here if possible, today/tomorrow as it was a time-sensitive situation to have her follow-up done. Dr. Valentine's nurse, Patience, took time to explain the situation to Dr. Valentine and he offered to come up and check on this patient before she discharged. The patient got excellent, and timely care thanks to their combined extra efforts and gift of their time!
