The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is requesting feedback from the public as they help to understand, identify and develop the future vision of Hwy 65 and 23 in Mora.
On Wednesday, December 14, all staff members will need to set up and begin to use MFA for any Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc) or to access the intranet.
This holiday season, all three of our campuses are drop sites for Toys for Tots!
Did you know? This will be our fourth year with Toys for Tots in Kanabec County and we need your help to keep this program up and running. Last year we served 675 children and gave out 2,203 toys to children in Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Isanti Counties.
Toys for Tots began in 1947 when Major Bill Hendricks, USMCR, and a group of Marine Reservists in Los Angeles collected and distributed 5,000 toys to children in need. The idea came from Bill’s wife, Diane. In the fall of 1947, Diane handcrafted a Raggedy Ann doll and asked Bill to deliver the doll to an organization which would give it to a child in need at Christmas. When Bill determined that no agency existed, Diane told Bill that he should start one, and he did! The 1947 campaign was so successful that the Marine Corps adopted Toys for Tots in 1948 and expanded it into a nationwide campaign.

Please make sure the toy is new and unwrapped.

Toys can be dropped off now until the week of December 9th.

Overnight staff – Food will be available in the Resiliency Room on the Med/Surg floor. Nutrition Services will deliver all the food to the resiliency room before the kitchen closes at 7:30PM. The sloppy joe meat in a “soupery” to keep it hot and be labeled for OVERNIGHT STAFF ONLY.
Evening shifts should (try to) plan on eating between 4-6:30PM.
