Welia Health Scholarships

Welia Health is offering a $2,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior from each of the following school districts: Mora, Ogilvie, Hinckley, and Pine City. The scholarship is renewable (for up to four years) if the recipient continues to be enrolled full-time (maintaining a minimum credit load of 12 semester credits) in a two or four-year post-secondary degree program in an area of healthcare. The student must maintain a 3.2 cumulative GPS while in college.

Welia Health Volunteer group is offering (2) $1,000 scholarships intended to assist graduating high school students with the cost of furthering their education or continuing their studies in a healthcare/medical sciences field. This scholarship is a one-time, non-renewable payout of $1,000. The applicant must be living in Kanabec or Pine County.

Volunteers Needed-Homecoming 2024

We are in need of  volunteers to cover a homecoming booth at our local schools’ football games! We need volunteers for about an hour prior to the game to hand out giveaways and represent Welia Health.  The dates are as follows:

Pine City: September 20th vs Hibbing

Mora: September 27th vs PIne City

Hinckley-Finlayson: September 27th vs Moose Lake/Willow River

East Central: October 11th vs Mille Lacs

Ogilvie: October 11th vs Bertha-Hewitt

Parade Volunteers Needed

Parade season is here! Welia Health is looking for staff to help with our three parades this summer:

Hinckley Corn and Clover Parade 7/13/24 at 9:30am

Mora Parade 7/27/24 at 4pm

Pine County Parade 8/3/24 at 4pm

We need 16-20 volunteers per parade. Please email pnelson@welia.org or tanderson@welia.org to volunteer. Families welcome 🙂
