Highway Cleanup Volunteers

Attention all Welia staff! It’s that time of the year again. We are looking for a few more volunteers for highway cleanup!

Kanabec County: 5/24

Pine City: 6/5

We will start cleanup around 4:30pm. If you would be willing to participate, or have questions, please contact pnelson@welia.org.

2023 Life Rice Event

Welia Health helped pack food boxes for Ukraine last weekend. With over 30 volunteers at the event, we helped donate just over 17,000 meals! Thank you to everyone who participated. If you are interested in participating in our next volunteer event, reach out to Paige nelson at pnelson@welia.org.

Life Rice Packing Day-Volunteers Needed

  Welia staff and family will be participating in a food packing event through Kids Against Hunger for the Lutheran churches here in Mora on Sunday, March 5th at 3pm.  We can take up to 30 volunteers for this event.  The coolest thing about this event?  The food we pack will stay LOCAL and will be delivered to our local food pantries.  Please contact Paige Nelson at *3586 or at pnelson@welia.org if you are interested in volunteering!

Food Distribution Volunteers Needed

Mora Food Pantry partners with Second Harvest North Central and hosts a free Food distribution at Lakes and Pines in Mora. We typically serve 100-120 households in an hour.  Volunteers are needed still for the 29th from 1-2pm.
