February Employee Wellness Challenge – Love Your Heart!
A new employee wellness challenge will be starting on Wednesday, February 1st, filled with heart healthy tasks to complete during the month.
Registration is required! Sign up at wellnessemp@welia.org and say ‘I Love My Heart’ in your email.
Turn in your challenge sheet by Monday March 6th to receive a love your heart journal and the chance to win a heart healthy gift basket valued at $150, sure to make any heart happy.

Office Moves
There have been spaces rearranged since the New Year:
- Melissa VanderVegt and Dawn Crain have moved into what was previously Ronda Jannett’s office.
- Anna Schultz is taking on the role of Volunteer Coordinator (in addition to her HR duties) and will continue to be located in Human Resources.
- The space next to Melissa and Dawn is being transitioned into a lactation room. There will be more communication on this when the remodel is finished.

New Application Process
Effective today, December 20th, our application process has changed. Below are instructions on how to apply for internal job positions within FirstLight Health System. These instructions are also posted on the HR page of the Intranet. We are very excited for this change and look forward to the process improvements that it brings.
All applicants will be required to create a user ID and password. This will enable you to monitor your progress through the application process. If you have any questions, please contact Human Resources.

Walk Your Socks Off-Log Sheets Due WEDNESDAY December 14th
Please turn in your log sheets with your walking minutes and beginning/final weight by Wednesday December 14th if you want to qualify for a pair of socks and a bonus prize.
Forward your walking log sheets to Deb in Wellness or stop down to the Wellness office (HR hallway, last door on your right). You can pick up your socks if you check in with Deb before Thursday December 15th (times in the office vary). Starting December 16th you can get your socks in HR.
Colors available: orange, yellow, purple, pink, green, blue (not pictured). First come, first served with the colors.
Socks are the #1 clothing item requested at homeless shelters. Through our purchase of socks, 130 pairs were donated by this company to homeless shelters across America.
