Thank You to Pine County Adopt A Highway Volunteers

A big thank you to our Pine County Adopt A Highway for cleaning up our ditches. We had a successful turn out with 13 volunteers! Way to practice the Welia way!

Volunteers included: Melinda Blood, Chris Newton, Samantha Bixby, Joe Dvorak, Leif Ulstrom and family, Susan Zimpel, Jessica Mosimann, Sara Duneman, Jennifer Goetsch and family, and Cindy Horton

Thank you again!!

Congratulations to Charity Felde!

Reason for Recognition? Great phlebotomy skill when there was a critical need for a specimen when others had difficulty obtaining the specimen! In addition, you reached out multiple times throughout the day to offer help! It's a comfort to know we can count on you to help whenever you're here.

Rehab

Choose more movement!

Part 2 – PT month

Most Americans do not move enough. The good news is that regular physical activity is one of the easiest ways to reduce your risk of chronic disease and to improve your quality of life.

Make physical activity a priority in your life to:
• Improve your memory and brain function, for people of all ages groups.
• Protect against many chronic diseases.
• Aid in weight management.
• Lower blood pressure and improve heart health.
• Improve your quality of sleep.
• Reduce feelings of anxiety and depression.
• Combat cancer-related fatigue.
• Improve joint pain and stiffness.
• Maintain muscle strength and balance.
• Increase life span.

Physical therapists are movement experts who improve quality of life through hands-on care, patient education, and prescribed movement. PTs treat people of all ages and abilities and empower you to take an active part in your care. After an evaluation, PTs create treatment plans based on your specific needs and goals.
